Blender realistic texture shader. It has options for both gas giants and rocky bodies.  At the bottom there is an option to plug in your own ocean map to mix in. you can also plug in noise maps etc. darkest points will be the lowest. There is also a option to generate a black and white ocean mask. make sure you turn off atmosphere and clouds when doing that option.

WARNING: EEVEE will lag if you are too close to the planet or if you are rendering. This will freeze your computer for a bit. Cycles doesn't have this problem so I recommend using cycles for a preview of the planet you are making so you have no risk of lock up.

Cycles renders WILL NOT have cities visible. I'm working on fixing that. Cycles renders also look a bit washed out so I recommend using EEVEE for final renders as they look much better. You can bake your textures if you want to avoid the lag issues entirely. Just make a plane with the desired aspect ratio for a preview.

works best on large (200+ meter diameter) planets. It will work on smaller planets but you will have to change the normal height on all the bump maps. probably will add a slider for this in the future. all shapes work with it however.

All things with GAS in front of them pertain to gas giants. Everything else is for rocky planets.

The picture of nodes with a stupid amount of spaghetti is for the rocky planets. The gas giants one is much simpler

1.01: gas giant roughness fixed

1.02: mountain slider added

1.03: cloud normal amount slider added

It will remain free forever. Tips would be nice tho lol
